We are South Bay Area residents who seek solutions to our area’s housing crisis, and we are pro-housing activists fighting for more inclusive housing policies and a future of abundant housing in our county. We drive policy change to increase the supply of housing at all levels and bring down the cost of living in Silicon Valley.
The San Francisco Bay Area is not “full” of too many people, but it is full of opportunities to create a dynamic economy and housing market that work for everyone. The housing shortage is a political problem: zoning and other restrictions have prevented building enough affordable places for people to live. We want to fix this and make our community more welcoming and inclusive.
Let’s legalize housing.

Policies we support
Allow more housing in every neighborhood, especially historically affluent and exclusionary neighborhoods, removing barriers to both subsidized affordable and market rate housing
Reform structures that incentivize communities to say no to new homes, including tax systems and car centric transportation systems.
Make housing permits fast and fair, removing arbitrary barriers to both subsidized affordable and market rate housing.
Enact policies that support current residents having stable housing choices amid growth.
Increase funding for subsidized affordable housing through a wide variety of mechanisms, including direct subsidies.
